Yesterday was one of the many days that i felt like giving up my motherhood for atleast for a second .
I was still sleeping soundly in my room when they climbed on top of my bed and woke me up. It was Saturday morning and i love sleeping in.
We are hungry mummy.
My girls requested for pancakes with hot chocolate for breakfast. I dragged my sleepy self to the kitchen and turn on the hot plate. Fifteen minutes later, breakfast was ready and i was more than happy to retire back to my bed but what happened next was what i didn't see coming.
I don't want pancakes again, i want fried yam with egg.
I thought that they were joking but they were serious. The older one later agreed to take the pancakes but my five years old started wailing like a baby that her mother denied breastmilk.
Ok, i am going to make you some fried yam and egg
That took almost thirty minutes to get ready and i made sure to make some for myself too. It is my favourite breakfast and i enjoyed every bite of it.
While we were going out later in the evening, the elder one who never like wearing popsocks as she always complined that it is scratchy started asking for her own popsocks just because her junoir sister was wearing one.
We have to spend minutes trying to talk her out of wearing one cause there was none for her to wear.
Honestly, i wouldn't have it any other way with them. Their tantrums and all, makes motherhood memorable.
I love these two so much.
