On a brighter note, motherland Nigeria breezed past Cameroon last night in the second match of the day in the AFCON. Th Super Eagles of Nigeria won (2-0) on a night most people had expected them to turn up for the party. I was carried away by the celebration 🥳🎉, hence my late publishing of the Larry hunt for the day. You made us proud last night, the Super Eagles. Once again, congratulations!!!
Angola had earlier crushed Namibia (3-0) to advance to the next round. Both teams had to end the game with ten men apiece with the Angolan goalkeeper getting his matching orders as early as the 17th minute of the game while Namibian player got his second yellow 🟡 card of the game in the 40th minute.
Angola will now face Nigeria's Super Eagles in the next round in Abidjan on Friday (17:00 GMT).

From Niger, Larry goes to world of astronauts and cosmonauts. He finds out that on this day in

Virgil I. Grissom, Edward H. White, and Roger B. Chaffee died in a fire aboard Apollo 1 while conducting a launch simulation.
Finally, Larry rounds off his look at today in #history from Poland. He finds out that on this day in
1945,
Soviet troops liberated the Nazi concentration camp at Auschwitz in Poland.
Having seen all these pieces of historical events, Larry zooms off to begin his daily deliveries.
