There is indeed no need dragging water rights by the two coastal neighbouring countries. Both sides have lost both human and material resources from the ensuing skirmishes. Infact most of the fighting armies have become bone tired and needs constant reinforcement. Some have been yearning seriously to be pulled out from the firing lines.
Even from the look of things some have become wood dolls and attracting unwarranted attention to their respective camps.
It took spirited and great efforts for the courageous community organisers to approach the world court, which turns out to be the supreme court in this matter, for an amicable settlement of the dacade old fighting.
The supreme court has begun hearing into the matter and judgment reserved and to be delivered soon. This has also hightened tension between the two fighting coastal border countries. External influence over their respective oils are also responsible for the senseless fighting and hightened tensions. Everybody wants to be seen as being sympathetic in the course of these two countries so as to enjoy some concessions in the drilling of their oils.
This has also gone a long way to show that most wars are unnecessary, except for the few who benefits from it and do not want it to end soon.
