It's been far too long since I did a garden update !The truth is, my poor garden has been terribly neglected for the last few months while I had to focus all my energy on some work issues.But behind the scenes, my wife has done a huge amount of work getting seedlings started, bringing them all into the house every night and taking them out again every morning until the temperatures rose enough for them to survive. Now that warm weather has finally arrived, she's been busy planting them all out.

It's the First of May ! That means HPUD - Hive Power Up Day.Image created by AI in NightCafe StudioI've powered up 20 HP, which is all the Liquid HIVE I could afford right now. But every bit helps ! The nice thing is that I've just tipped over the 12K HP mark, roughly 20% of the way to going from dolphin to orca. At this rate of growth, I should tip over to being an orca some time around my 120th birthday.....

This post started off as a one-off response to a writing prompt in the Freewriters Community. Then I wrote a part 2 (with the outcome literally determined by a coin toss).But that naturally leads to a part 3, which is where this short series comes in. I felt that doing it in just one post really wouldn't give enough time to build up a bit of suspense 😀 Enjoy !
