Year to date through March 14, 2025 - Comicsgate projects have received $354,363 in funding.
The most funded Comicsgate project in 2025 is Billy Tucci's Shi Gatecrasher on Kickstarter.

For the period March 8-14, 2024 Comicsgate projects garnered $23,791 in funding.
The most funded project during this period was Cyberfrog: Red Extermination which received $7,020. This book was solicited with an estimated delivery window of December 2024, and is now three months late.

Ethan Van Sciver made an appearance on the
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLVXm1UPsnE&t=7516s program and made the claim that Cyberfrog crowdfunding numbers had continued to increase from the first to the third book.

Van Sciver failed to explain that his subsequent campaigns were allowed to run for years after the active phase of the books. Isolating only the active phase of the crowdfunding campaigns may be more instructive. Van Sciver's backers have an observable downward trend for backer numbers from book to book.

Van Sciver has devoted much of his YouTube Content over the past year to assailing Eric July and the Rippaverse. ISOM #3 a graphic novel from the Rippaverse has now sold over 7,000 books and raised over $430,000 in sales. Not including the other releases from the Rippaverse, ISOM #3 has raised approximately $80,000 more than the 2025 Comicsgate campaigns combined.
