Today, I can officially announce that I have returned to a reasonable routine after a distracting holiday. Yesterday, I worked on my novel in progress for the first time in over a month. I didn’t realize it had been that long until I looked at the calendar. Yikes!
I got off to a quick start this morning. Let Hawthorne out, then I had a cup of coffee. I did a little work then drove to Kroger. I set up a book table and sold books for 8 hours.Afterward, I did a little grocery shopping and drove home.

Then I walked around Kroger and drove home. After eating dinner, I played with Hawthorne and checked in on my parents.

I woke up this morning in Meridian, Mississippi. I took Hawthorne for a short walk and we played a little bit. Then I had coffee and breakfast.After preparing for a road trip, I drove home, stopping every hour-and-a-half to walk Hawthorne and use the restroom. We also made several fueling stops and one lunch break .
