I seem to have a habit of rescuing plants.When I see plants or cut flowers on clearance rack at a shop, I think about bringing them home. I’ve got a rescued tulip cut flowers, a pot of kalanchoe, parsley, and probably more I’m forgetting.

The weather in Germany has warmed up enough to plant summer vegetables, so I got a little ahead of schedule and planted some out on the balcony and in the garden. While sipping coffee from my Hive mug, I found myself reminiscing about last week’s Hive Creators Day and looking forward to Hive Fest in October.

Today, I returned to the market for the first time in a while. My last stall was at the end of last year ... during the cold winter months, I decided to took a break to rest my body. I had planned to be back before Easter, but due to a booking mix-up, I couldn’t get a stand. So today, just before Mother’s Day, ended up being my first market day of the year. Luckily, I was able to properly launch the furikake I had been wanting to turn into a product since last year, including the packaging—so all’s well that ends well!

Today I went for my regular dental checkup and cleaning—something I do every six months.It’s not always easy to make the time (and yes, it costs a bit), but it really helps prevent bigger problems down the road. I see it as a small investment in future health, and I highly recommend it ☺️ I want to eat as many as tasty vegetables in my life!

I like to jot down ideas and thoughts that come to me in a notebook. Last night, on a whim, I pulled out one from a year ago and flipped through the pages.Unless you're super famous, daily life tends to just slip by unless you make a record of it yourself. As I read, I was surprised by some of the things I found—"Oh, I already had this idea back then!" or "Ah, I was stuck on this point... but it's all working out now, so no worries." Even the way my handwriting changed—messy and rushed when I was physically or mentally tired—revealed a lot about how I was feeling at the time. There’s so much I would have forgotten if I hadn’t written it down.
