Como les dije en mi post anterior, visitamos Palermo, Buenos Aires y este sitio, es enorme por ende, recorrimos varios lugares (mas no su totalidad) y, uno de esos sitios fue el Ecoparque que, antiguamente era un Zoo pero paso a ser un lugar para preservar los animales en cautiverio que según ellos, ya no pueden ser reinsertados en su hábitat natural.
As I told you in my previous post, we visited Palermo, Buenos Aires and this place, it is huge therefore, we visited several places (but not all of them) and one of those places was the Ecopark which was formerly a Zoo but became a place to preserve animals in captivity that according to them, can no longer be reintroduced into their natural habitat.

Este parque tiene 16 hectáreas y albergan algunas especies autóctonas en peligro de extinción para su conservación o al menos así te lo venden. Digo esto porque poseen un Tapir que no es autóctonos de aquí pero quizá es un detalle a parte ya que pudo ser, este animal, victima de trafico ilegal y aquí se preserva pero esas son conclusiones mías y me quedo pendiente esa duda. Además de un tapir, vimos una jirafa, varios Cóndores, muchos pero muchos pavos y reales y muchísimas liebres, nutrias, un hipopótamo y guacamayos.
This park covers 16 hectares and houses some endangered native species, or at least that's what they tell you. I say this because they have a tapir, which isn't native to this area, but perhaps that's a separate detail, since this animal could have been a victim of illegal trafficking and is preserved here. These are my own conclusions, and I still have that question. In addition to a tapir, we saw a giraffe, several condors, many, many peacocks and roosters, and tons of hares, otters, a hippopotamus, and macaws.

La experiencia estuvo bonita. Es una buena caminata para disfrutar la naturaleza y observar a los animalitos. Debo decir que, están muy bien cuidados y muchos de ellos estaban libres correteando por ahí y te podías cruzar con ellos e interactuar (con respeto siempre). Además de esto, el lugar posee todo tipo de construcciones hermosas que representa cada lugar de donde viene originalmente cada animalito. Una construcción mas hermosa que la otra.
The experience was beautiful. It's a nice walk to enjoy nature and observe the animals. I must say they are very well cared for, and many of them were running around freely, allowing you to meet them and interact (always with respect). In addition, the place has all kinds of beautiful buildings that represent each animal's original location. One building is more beautiful than the next.

Mis favoritas fueron definitivamente, las de estilo grecorromano. Siempre me gusto ese tipo de arquitectura y quede embelesada al verlas. De igual forma, les comparto varias que logre captar con el lente de mi cámara. Ninguna tenia desperdicio a la vista y todas, merecían apreciación por separado.
My favorites were definitely those in the Greco-Roman style. I've always loved that type of architecture and was captivated by them. I'm also sharing several that I managed to capture with my camera lens. None of them were a sight to behold, and all deserved individual appreciation.

La entrada es libre y gratuita pero eso si, dentro, para comprarte un agua, deberás vender un riñón mínimo jajaja lleva agua y algo para comer si no quieres salir trasquilado.
Esta última foto de este edificio hermoso, es el que mas llamo mi atención. Era un palomar que llego a albergar cientos de palomas de criadero. Hermoso, simplemente hermoso pero triste ver como algo tan bello puede convertirse en una prisión. Actualmente, no alberga ningún ave.
Admission is free, but inside, to buy a water, you'll have to sell at least a kidney. Bring water and something to eat if you don't want to leave shorn.
This last photo of this beautiful building is the one that caught my attention the most. It was a dovecote that once housed hundreds of breeding pigeons. Beautiful, simply beautiful, but sad to see how something so beautiful can become a prison. Currently, it doesn't house any birds.

El día estuvo espectacularmente soleado aunque de repente, unas cuentas gotas de lluvia fresca nos mojaron la piel. Nada que no se soporte, la naturaleza nos estaba besando y bendiciendo con dulces besos en forma de gotas de agua para hacernos sentir que estamos vivos y con un día mas para disfrutar ¡Saludos!
The day was spectacularly sunny, but suddenly, a few drops of cool rain wet our skin. Nothing we can't stand; nature was kissing us and blessing us with sweet kisses in the form of water droplets to make us feel alive and with another day to enjoy. Cheers!
