The first successful cryptocurrency "Nurucoin" was launched a few months ago in Nairobi, Kenya. The coin was developed to help address the root causes of the perennial imbalance of Intra- African trade, which is currently at only 11% as compared to Africa-Europe trade which is at 66%. Other coins have also been released and more are scheduled to be launched throughout the year. This shows the continent's commitment to using cryptocurrency to boost deveopment and to address social and economic problems.
Africa is a rich continent full of potential and endless posibilities. Its about time the rest of the cryptocurrency world shifts focus on Africa!
