Hello. Ever since i was a kid Yoshi was my favourite Mario character, so i decided i would do the name in graffiti today.
I took the colour scheme of the original green and white Yoshi egg and used it throughout this piece. i replaced the 'o' and the dot of the 'i' with eggs. This is my first piece i have used white for the main colour of the letters so I wasn't sure what to use for the highlights, but i ended up going for yellow. I added a purple second outline and bubbles coming from this. I also added a dark green 3D effect.
Upon reviewing this work I need to make my lines cleaner, there is a few wonky lines and sections that could be improved. The 3D is a consistent thickness for the most part, which I am pleased about, as this is something I noticed in some of my other work. If I was to re-do this piece I would make the yellow highlights a paler yellow and add some shine to them.
