Went to play pickleball at a friend!s condominium. Passed by a badminton court near my place on the way.去朋友的公寓打匹克球。途中经过我家附近的羽毛球场。The condominium is about 10 to 15 minutes walk away.公寓大约走 10 到 15 分钟的路程。 There is a nice swimming pool near the court.球场附近有一个漂亮的游泳池。 The court is nice. 球场很不错。 We set up the net.我们架起了球网。 Then played some pickleball. Mostly good but the bottom of the fence was too high on 3 sides and the ball could roll out easily. 然后打了一些匹克球。大部分都很好，但是三边的围栏底部太高了，球很容易滚出去。 I hung my phone on the fence and tried tested the position for taking photo. 我把手机挂在围栏上，测试拍照的位置。 Finally, a group photo for our 3rd pickleball session in our home town.最后，是我们家附近第三次匹克球活动的合影。

After having lunch with my friend, I went up with him to his room in the hotel to check it out. You get to see a city view from the lift lobby.和朋友吃完午餐后，我和他一起去了酒店房间参观一下。从电梯厅可以看到城市景观。He led me to the room. 他带我去了房间。 It's a simple no frills room but nice enough. Such a big king size bed for one person too.房间简洁朴素，但还算不错。一张特大床，一个人睡也太大了吧。 The painting on the wall was nice. 墙上的画很漂亮。 The TV was neither big nor small. The toilet was near the entrance but I didn't check that out. 电视不大不小。厕所在入口附近，但我没去。 There were some drinks in the fridge and he said those were included. So I took a can. 😎冰箱里有一些饮料，他说包含在房费里。所以我拿了一罐。😎 It was raining outside. So we spent some time to chit chat. 外面下着雨。所以我们聊了一会儿。 When the rain stopped, I left and the view from the lift lobby was clear. 雨停后，我离开了房间，电梯厅的景色清晰可见。

Cheers to the $1 weekday coffee at McDonald’s.麦当劳工作日只要1新元的咖啡，真是太棒了。After breakfast, we went to the Ibis Bencoolen Hotel where my friend was staying for lunch because the hotel gave him a $20 voucher. 早餐后，我们去了我朋友住的宜必思明古连酒店吃午餐，因为酒店给了他一张20新元的代金券。

Out to Lorong 1 Toa Payoh for late Sunday lunch. 去大巴窑1巷吃周日午餐。A stall at the corner has changed.角头的一家摊位换了经营者。 Went to the stall and waited a while before the queue of one person before me was done. 去了那家摊位，等了一会儿，前面一个人的队伍才排完。 Bought the wanton noodle for $3.80. I like the leaner char siew I saw. Okay, happy enough with the lunch.买了$3.80的云吞面。我喜欢看到的那瘦点的叉烧。好吧，对午餐还算满意。

html>  Back to The Ship for dinner recently. 最近又去了The Ship(船餐厅)吃晚餐。It was a weekday so wasn't very crowded. 因为是工作日，所以不是很拥挤。 Sat down.坐了下来。 Ordered the fried fish bee hoon soup again. 又点了炸鱼米粉汤。 They brought the cutlery.他们拿来了餐具。 Later, the two bowls of bee hoon came. 稍后，两碗米粉汤上来了。 The set meal included coffee/tea and dessert. I got a little mango pudding for my dessert.套餐包括咖啡/茶和甜点。我的甜点是小份的芒果布丁。 The lady opted for a scoop of chocolate ice cream.那位女士选择了一勺巧克力冰淇淋。 Total cost of the dinner is about $38.晚餐总共花费约 38 元。

Went to NUSS on 20250502 for May Day pickleball fun challenge. The games start at 9am but we were supposed to report at 8.30am to draw a number which determines who we pair with and play with. Ended up my first game was scheduled at 10.15am.2025年5月2日，我去了新加坡国立大学协会会所参加劳动节匹克球挑战赛。比赛早上9点开始，但我们原本应该8:30报到，抽签决定我们和谁组队一起比赛。结果我的第一场比赛被安排在10:15。
