在紐約到處觀光時，也不能錯過在地美食，我和朋友在第五大道逛累了後，雖然對在地美食一竅不通，好在 Yelp APP 非常方便，查了APP後，發現在派翠克教堂旁有個評分還不錯的餐廰，就直接前往，於是因緣際會來到了FIG & OLIVE 餐廳。
雖然我們沒訂位，但好在候位時間還算短，才有機會享用到紐約美食。這間餐廳主打地中海料理的法國菜系，所以食物方面走精緻風，從擺盤也可一窺究竟。
我和朋友選擇共同點餐再分享，餐點內容部分包括餐前麵包加橄欖油、烤吐司搭配的不同topping組合、龍蝦海鮮魚湯和西班牙海鮮墩飯 Paella Del Mar。
餐前麵包加橄欖油部分，有三種口味橄欖油可搭配，算是一種面包三吃的感覺，至於烤吐司搭配的不同topping組合，相當好吃，很推薦大家點來吃吃看。
因為龍蝦海鮮魚湯感覺很高級，所以我主張點來享用，沒想到擺盤確實很漂亮，但吃起來感覺普普，倒是朋友點的西班牙海鮮墩飯完全完勝，除了賣相好，真的非常好吃，這道菜也是很多網友的推薦。
FIG & OLIVE 餐廳的葡萄酒非常有名，餐廳裝湟也很高雅，特別的是還提供寬敞舒適的吧臺設計，即使一個人用餐也很自在。
整體而言，我覺得食物十分美味，不過價位有點小貴，室內氣氛也相當不錯，唯一美中不足就是因為人聲鼎沸所以有點小吵。但還是非常建議有機會去紐約玩的人可以試試，如果你想試試道地的地中海料理就更加值得一試了。
While exploring New York, indulging in the local food scene is a must. After a long day of shopping on Fifth Avenue, my friends and I were exhausted. Since we weren’t familiar with the local dining scene, we turned to the Yelp app for help. Luckily, we found a well-rated restaurant right next to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and that’s how we ended up at FIG & OLIVE.
Even though we didn’t have a reservation, the wait time was relatively short, giving us the chance to experience New York’s culinary delights. FIG & OLIVE specializes in Mediterranean cuisine with a French influence, offering beautifully plated and refined dishes. We decided to order several items to share, including house bread with olive oil, a selection of crostinis with various toppings, lobster seafood bisque, and Paella Del Mar.
The house bread with olive oil came with three different flavors of olive oil, making it a fun "three-in-one" tasting experience. The crostinis with assorted toppings were absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend trying them.
Since lobster seafood bisque sounded fancy, I insisted we order it. While the presentation was impressive, the taste was just average. However, my friend’s Paella Del Mar was a good choice! Not only did it look appetizing, but it was also incredibly flavorful—no wonder it’s highly recommended by many reviewers.
FIG & OLIVE is also known for its excellent wine selection. The restaurant’s decor is elegant, and it features a spacious and comfortable bar area, making it a great spot even for solo diners. Overall, the food was delicious, though a bit on the pricey side. The ambiance was lovely, but the lively crowd made it a little noisy.
That said, I highly recommend visiting FIG & OLIVE if you’re in New York. If you’re looking to try authentic Mediterranean cuisine, this place is definitely worth a visit!
