Iam an ER physician , today I had been through very bad experience that I had seen a 77 years old mam who is bought by an ambulance (999) and she was coplaining of vague symptoms and I noticed that she is dairty so I started to talk to her about her symptoms and I tried to be gentle with her so after I finshe examing her and I requested some investigations for her I tried to reassure her thats possibly nothing serious and I joked with her she surprisingly ask me if she can hug me .
Actually I couldnt answer her and I think it appeared that Iam surprised so she said to me : son I know Iam OK and I had nothing just I missing my son who is the same as your age he is not visiting me unless iam sick thats why I came her now and really u look like him so Iam sorry doc . And she started to cry ;((
I couldnt hold my tears and I hugged her and we were both crying ;(((((
