Whilst the tourists are away and it's not so toasty in the Balearics, there is normally plenty of construction work taking place. This year it's Magaluf's turn for major works as the promenade, or at least half of it, is being repaved and widened.

As the days grow longer and the weather warms up, I'm feeling a renewed sense of motivation to move and increase my fitness levels. During the cooler months, when the temptation to hibernate is strong, my paddleboards and bike are mostly just taking up room in this one bedroom apartment by the sea.
